Hi! I’m Kendra (she/her)
I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I’m also a wife and mom to two daughters. I know what it’s like to go through some particularly big life transitions – questioning long-held beliefs, grappling with the impact of religious trauma, and feeling the overwhelming emotional shifts as a highly sensitive parent. These experiences have deeply shaped (and continue to shape) who I am, both as a person and as a therapist. They’ve allowed me to understand, from the inside, what it feels like to struggle with sensory overload, stress, identity, relationships, and a shaky sense of self-worth.
I use my lived experiences and my training in a variety of therapeutic modalities—including self compassion, AEDP, somatic therapies, polyvagal theory, and Narrative Therapy—to offer a holistic, compassionate approach to therapy. I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and working together to create a space where you can explore what healing means to you.
I know that being heard and known by someone else can be a powerful way to begin a new way forward. That’s why I do what I do. When you’re ready to start the journey, I’m here to help.
Working with me
You are a unique individual and I approach my work by starting there. Though there are hundreds of approaches to therapy, there is only one you. That’s why I draw on several different theories and practices based on who you are and what you may need in a given session. Some approaches that I find useful are somatic approaches, narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy and family systems theory.
It’s important to me that you feel good about our work together and I’ll check in often about how things are feeling for you.

Here’s the good news: If you’re willing to show up and put in the effort, there is a new way and a more authentic, settled you on the other side of the journey.
It won’t happen overnight and it won’t be a straight path, but I’ll commit to being with you in the twists and turns.
