Hi! I’m Kendra (she/her)

I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist candidate (LCT-C) with the province of New Brunswick and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I ground my work on the belief that you are profoundly unique and that many things have shaped who you are today. I will work with you to understand what’s going on inside of you.

In the last ten years of working in different helping professions, I’ve seen regular people like you and me do courageous and hard things. It’s those moments that make me so honoured to do this work.

I know that when you’re feeling depleted and out of ideas, it can take some big energy to send a message. Know that I hear you and I want to help. Whenever you’re ready, I’d love to help you get started.

Working with me

You are a unique individual and I approach my work by starting there. Though there are hundreds of approaches to therapy, there is only one you. That’s why I draw on several different theories and practices based on who you are and what you may need in a given session. Some approaches that I find useful are narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy and family systems theory.

It’s important to me that you feel good about our work together and I’ll check in often about how things are feeling for you.

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing

who we are.

Here’s the good news: If you’re willing to show up and put in the effort, there is a new way and a more authentic, settled you on the other side of the journey.

It won’t happen overnight and it won’t be a straight path, but I’ll commit to being with you in the twists and turns.
